Millet power / Eat your millet right!!

Are you tired of eating the same old rice and roti, then this workshop is for you!! Indulge in cooking and eating our ancient and desi foods, our millets!!  

Millets are undoubtedly the future food that are least allergenic and easy to digest. They are not only low in calories yet is a gluten free source, suitable for all ages and play a key role in reducing the risk of emerging lifestyle diseases. Apart from its super nutrient – fiber, it is a powerhouse of many essential nutrients like Vitamin B, calcium, proteins, iron, zinc and antioxidant called polyphenols- known to protect against cancer and many lifestyle diseases.
 

Each 100 gram (g) of cooked millet contains roughly:

  1. 3.51 g of protein

  2. 23.7 g of carbs

  3. 1.3 g of dietary fiber

  4. 44 milligrams (mg) of magnesium

  5. 100 mg of phosphorus
