Veggie-Bread Pancake

  • Bread slices – 6 no.s

  • Milk – 1 cup

  • Carrot, grated – 2 tsp

  • Onion, chopped - 2 tsp

  • Capsicum – 2 tsp

  • Coriander, chopped – ¼ tsp

  • Raisins – 8-10 no.s (optional)

  • Salt - 1/4 tsp

  • pepper – 1/4 tsp

  • Garam masala – ¼ tsp

  • Ghee – 4-5 tsp


1. Crumble the breads to fine powder and put it in a bowl. You can crumble the bread using the blender.

2. Add the garam masala, pepper and salt to it. Later add carrot, onion, capsicum, coriander, raisins.

3. Now, pour the milk gradually making sure the batter is thick in consistency.

4. Heat the tawa. Scoop generous portion of this bread mixture on the tawa and grease ½ to 1 tsp ghee around.

5. Carefully lift the pancake using a spatula to see if the pancake has turned brown and flip it on the other side.

6. Let it cook for few more minutes. Your pancake is ready to be served hot on plate with sauce.

7. You can roll this in aluminum foil to consume it in a short while.

Note – Add any veggies and fruits like pomegranate, grated apple to enhance the taste.
