Pasta- Groundnut snack


Ingredients

  • Pasta - 1/4 cup

  • Oil - 1 tsp

  • Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp

  • pea nuts, crushed - 2 tsp

  • Onion – 2 tbsp

  • Salt – 1 tsp

  • Carrot - 2tbsp(grated)

  • Pepper powder – 2tsp

  • Cheese, grated – 2 tsp

Method

1. Cook the pasta in salt water till it becomes soft. Drain the water and wash it in cold water.

2. Add oil and mustard seeds in a pan. Add onion and peanuts and sauté it.

3. Add cooked pasta and mix well.

4. Finally add grated carrot and cheese to it and switch off the flame. Mix well and serve hot.

Highlights of the recipes – Pasta is a good source of carbohydrate. Ground nuts and are rich in protein and mono unsaturated fats. Carrot is rich in vitamin A. cheese contributed calcium and quality protein.
