Veggies-Oats Patties

  • Oats - 1 cup

  • Boiled potatoes - 1 no.

  • Boiled peas - 2 tbsp

  • Garam masala powder- 1 tsp

  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

  • Peanuts, broken- 1 tbsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp

  • Onion, chopped -1 cup

  • Ghee -3 tbsp


1. Dry roast oatmeal and powder it.

2. Mash the potato, peas and onion, by adding garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt.

3. Mix peanuts and coriander leaves to the above mixture.

4. Knead them well and pat into small tikkis out of the potato mixture.

5. Roll them on oats to coat.

5. Place them on tawa pan and add a tsp of ghee.

6. Wait until it turns golden brown.

6. Flip the other side until it is done. Serve hot with sauce.

Nutritional highlight: Oatmeal is a good source of fiber, protein and carbohydrates. Peanuts are good sources of protein, fat, energy and phosphorus.
